ศาลเจ้าพ่อเขาแดง

     หลวงพ่อเขาแดง เป็นรูปปั้นที่ประดิษฐานอยู่ภายในศาลเจ้าพ่อเขาแดง ตำบลคลองวาฬ อำเภอเมือง จังหวัดประจวบคีรีขันธ์ โดยสร้างขึ้นตามนิมิตของชาวบ้าน ที่เชื่อกันว่าเป็นรูปลักษณ์ของท่านจริง ๆชาวบ้านเชื่อกันว่าท่านเป็นสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ปกปักรักษาชาวประมงและ ชาวบ้าน ที่ผ่านมาเมื่อมีภัยพิบัติต่าง ๆ เข้ามาในพื้นที่ เช่น พายุลินดา ชาวบ้านได้บนบาลศาล กล่าวให้หลวงพ่อเขาแดงช่วย และทำให้หมู่บ้านคลองวาฬสามารถผ่านพ้นภัยพิบัติไปได้ด้วยดี ในทุกๆปี ชาวบ้านจะจัดให้มีการบวงสรวงหลวงพ่อเขาแดง เพื่อเป็นสิริมงคลแก่ชุมชน และ สร้างขวัญกำลังใจให้กับผู้ประกอบอาชีพ โดยเฉพาะชาวประมง

Khao Daeng Shrine (San Chao Pho Khao Daeng)

     Luang Pho Khao Daeng is a revered statue enshrined within the Khao Daeng Shrine, located in Khlong Wan Subdistrict, Mueang District, Prachuap Khiri Khan Province. The statue was created based on the vision of local villagers, who believe it truly represents his divine appearance.

     The local people believe that Luang Pho Khao Daeng is a sacred protector who watches over fishermen and residents in the area. In times of disaster—such as during Tropical Storm Linda—the villagers prayed and made vows asking for his protection. They believe that thanks to his divine intervention, Khlong Wan village was able to safely overcome such crises.

     Every year, a ritual ceremony is held to pay homage to Luang Pho Khao Daeng. This tradition is believed to bring prosperity to the community and boost the morale of those in the local workforce, especially those who work in the fishing industry.
